Curly Flat Twist Updo

Hey ya’ll, I know it’s been a minute…but am back. It’s been hectic trying to balance but I’m trying my level best to come back to my element. Today’s post is about this curly flat twist updo.

I rocked this hairstyle on Sunday and I must admit that I loved the work of my hands. I started off by dividing my hair into 5 sections; four at the back and one at the crown where I was able to achieve the curls. I used my perm rods for this process. Since my hair was already conditioned and moisturized, I did not use any product on the flat twist but dampened the hair at the crown and applied organic Shea Butter to assist my hair in holding the curls. I had the perm rods in for about 18 hours then took them down the following morning and this was the results.
